For the second One Year Performance, known informally as the Time Piece, Hsieh punched a time clock, every hour on the hour, twenty-four hours a day, for an entire year.

Depuis 2001-2002, à travers l’autoportrait, je me questionne sur l’identité et les identités multiples. J’utilise la photographie, la peinture, la vidéo et réalise des performances. La vidéo a été une forme de transition entre la photographie et la performance. L’écart entre la représentation d’une personne en image et sa présentation en face à face direct m’interpelle.

Vanessa Beecroft born 1969 Genoa Italy
Beecroft uses a unique, personal, artistic language. Her work is a complex fusion of conceptual issues and aesthetic concerns, focusing on large-scale performance art, usually involving live female models (often nude). At her performances, video recordings and photographs are made, to be exhibited as documentation of the performances, but also as separate works of art.

Né en 1948 à Genève ( Suisse)
Artiste suisse, Armleder s’engage très tôt dans une production extrêmement polymorphe: dessin, peinture, performance, vidéo, enseignement,etc. En 1969 il fonde le groupe ECART (activités alternatives entre 1969 et 1980) avec lequel il réalise de nombreuses actions proches de FLUXUS ( nom donné en 1961 par G. Maciunas à un courant qui affirme selon le principe dadaÏste que «tout est art»). A partir de 1980 il réalise des toiles d’inspiration très formaliste, et des peintures d’ameublement.
